Every family is special to us. But families with sick children hold an extra place in our hearts. That’s why Daily Bingsu supports initiatives offering a home close to the hospital for these families—helping them stay near their hospitalized child, because it makes recovery easier.

When a child is ill, nothing matters more than having their parents nearby. Yet many hospitals don’t provide suitable accommodation, making frequent commuting difficult for families. A nearby home solves this problem by providing a warm, welcoming place for the whole family during a challenging time

The first such house opened after cooperation between hospitals and nonprofit organizations dedicated to supporting families with sick children. It offers cozy rooms and communal spaces including playrooms, living areas, kitchens, and outdoor patios—all managed lovingly by staff and volunteers so parents can focus on caring for their child.

Families in need can apply for accommodation during their child’s hospitalization and stay as long as needed. When rooms are full, a waiting list ensures help is available as soon as possible.

Fundraising is crucial to keep this support alive. Daily Bingsu joins other partners in raising funds through donations and special initiatives, making a meaningful difference together.

Multiple locations are equipped with rainwater harvesting systems, collecting water for toilets and cleaning to reduce drinking water use. Additionally, we have installed waterless fixtures to further decrease water consumption, saving thousands of liters annually.

Because about 1 in 650 children are born with such conditions, raising awareness and support remains vital. Collaborations with specialists, hospitals, and parent associations help strengthen this mission.
